Prince Charles and Camilla Arrive in Pakistan
Amid high security, Prince Charles and wife Camilla arrived in Pakistan on Sunday. They were met at the Islamabad military airport by the Pakistani Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Sumeria Malik, Pakistan High Commissioner to Britain Dr Maleeha Lodhi, British High Commissioner to Pakistan Sir Mark Lyall Grant and other government officials.
The royal couple is scheduled to visit a madrasa (Islamic school) and areas hit by earthquakes last year. There is talk that the Prince will be presented with a yak in a ceremony later this week. Since he won’t be bringing the animal back to his Gloucestershire farm, I wonder what will become of it.
