Japan’s Princess Aiko Goes to the Zoo

Kindergartner Princess Aiko of Japan enjoyed a school trip to Tokyo’s Tama Zoological Park on Friday. Her mother, Crown Princess Masako, accompanied her until the gate of the zoo, where she then joined her classmates and teachers.
In a section of the zoo where the visitors are allowed to touch the animals, Princess Aiko put a guinea pig on her lap and patted it. Afterwards, the children ate boxed lunches together, and then looked at other animals in the zoo, including koalas.
I’m sure she enjoyed her day at the zoo, as any 4-year-old would.
